Luton UK based overseas Service Engineer

Our client, a leading Manufacturer of Equipment for the chemically bonded sand and no Bake process within the Foundry Industry, Supplying to a worldwide market are seeking to appoint a Service Engineer.


Job description:

The Service Engineer role would be to provide the customer with servicing or commissioning the plant the company manufactures at the Headquarter. When a candidate is not at the customers’ site he will be expected to come to the office and complete site reports, expenses and assist in testing the plant prior to despatch from our client. The role is 80% on site anywhere in the world and 20% in the office, generally a maximum of two weeks on site.

Wymagania

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will either be a recognized mechanically or electrically qualified engineer, who is able to multi skill in both disciplines with a good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. A good knowledge and experience of PLC programming is essential preferably Mitsubishi and Siemens PLC controllers, HMI’s and VFD. Ability to travel around the world.



Experience:

- Engineering background - Mechanical and Electrical
- good PLC knowledge and skills
- advanced level of English
- experience on gas fired system would be an advantage but not essential

We offer:

In return we would offer a competitive package. The salary is negotiable for the right candidate and it is about £22.000 – 24.000 per year plus bonus scheme.
