Our Client was founded in 2003, and since then we have built a team of over one hundred best-in-class embedded software and hardware engineers. In 2016 was nominated for Best Investment in Poland (New Technology). Due to the outstanding talent in Poland, in 2018, they are expanding team further to include specialist engineers dedicated to networking technologies for embedded devices. Client are looking for:

Embedded Software Engineer – Networking and IoT Specialist
Nr Ref: ESEN/W/127/2018
Location: Wrocław

Required profile:
• 5+ years of Linux based devices including Linux device driver work
• 5+ years of C and C++ programming including at least 2 years of C++11
• 5+ years of working with at least two network protocols (IPv6/v4, DHCPv6/v4, SNMP, iGMP, Wifi, Zigbee, , 6LOWPan, Thread, BlueTooth, UPnP)
• 2+ years of working with embedded devices such as Routers, Bridges, Gateways, Access Points, Internet of Things devices
• Practical experience with a range of network topologies (mesh, ring, span, point to point)
• Knowledge of network security issues, penetration testing etc.
• Practical experience of debugging network issues
• Strong English language skills
• Strong team skills
Nice-to-have:
• Customer facing experience
• Scripting in Python or Ruby
• Other programming languages such as Go, Java, Javascript
• LoRaWan, Wifi-Direct, Z-wave, BlueZ, 3G/4G/5G
• Linux networking packages e.g. Wireless tools, Bridge-utils
• TR069 experience
• Beam Steering
• Noise Reduction
• Quality of Service
• Band steering
• Network performance testing
• Streaming video and audio over networks
